What is Shockwave Therapy?
Shock wave therapy, (ESWT), is a non-evasive procedure which is clinically proven in the treatment of chronic soft tissue and musculoskeletal injuries.
Shockwaves are pulses or acoustic sound waves that are targeted at the problem area from a hand-held probe. Shockwaves work by stimulating the growth of new blood vessels and nerves while breaking down scar tissue, which can be a significant issue in chronic conditions.
